And btw do not mistake lower close than open(filled) with a red candle
or upper close than open with a green candle.
A filled/empty can occur either in a red or green candle.Maybe this is
what is confusing you.The only criteria is the closing shud be lesser
than
opening and u get a filled candle.Does not matter whether candle is red/green.

A candlestick with the body filled in (or, in the following chart,
when the body is black) shows the close being less than the open. The
exact opposite is true when the close is greater than the open - the
body is hollow (or white).
