check out NinjaTrader. It's primarily an order
entry tool and will only work with a few brokers but it also has the capability
for automated trading. You need your signal program to place orders into a
desiganted folder which Ninja Trader checks and then executes using your preset
stop and target criteria. I have not used it for this purpose so can not
vouch for it but seems well thought out.

don't flame me: Metastock Alternatives???
Don't get me wrong, I love using my Metastock to analyze
stocks. However, my schedule has become increasingly hectic where I
can't even keep track of stocks during trading hours.I was
thinking of totally automating a mechanical system with all the stop
losses and trailing stops involved for protection. I know that this
sounds crazy! But I'm really thinking about it.I'm sad that
Metastock is not tied into an online broker so it can trigger automated
orders if the right conditions are met. So my question is
this: Which software out there that can do this and do it
well??? I've been told that tradestation has this function...is this
right and any other programs?And would you do this???Thanks in
