[EquisMetaStock Group] congestion areas

Does anybody know of a plug in for MS 8.0  that helps you ascertain when you are about to get into a congestion area ( sideways trading) or if you are in one rather early?  Sounds like a silly question but I swear about reading about something that can do this and with good accuracy.
