[EquisMetaStock Group] help with formula

Hi

I would like to write a system test that enters me long on a gap up 
and short on a gap down,
the problem with the built in one with metastock is it won`t give 
the signal if the low or high crosses over into the previous days 
range and will only get a signal at the end of the day due to this.
i only want the gap at the open and not what happens after.
