Whenever you import a formula(s) and don't know the name of 
what you have imported, simply import it a second time, and you will get a 
warning that formula "xyz" already exists and do you want to overwrite 
it.
 
This "xyz" gives you the name(s) of what you have previously 
imported. Round about way ... would have been simpler for MS just to report what 
it is importing, but nevertheless it is a simple reliable way of finding out 
what has just been imported.

        Save the dta file in any 
        folder
        Open your Metastock
        Click the Formula Button
        Click Organiser Button
        Select Import Formula
        Browse to where you have saved the dta 
        file.
        Click OK.
        The formula will be imported into 
        MS.
