Jay,
Just keep in mind that used as Ref(...,+n), its OK for highlighting or
plotting symbols inside an Expert. You *cannot* use it in an exploration -
all symbols get rejected as MS (or any program for that matter) doesn't know
what lies in the next (future) bar - i.e. the bar that will form over the
next time period.

I figured it out. I used the reference funciton with + numbers in it so
that
I was identifying the day(s) I wanted the symbol in terms of Ref(L/H,+/-n).
It works.
