Hi Robert --
I have been a long time owner and user of both MetaStock and TradeStation.
In the past I have owned and used Omnitrader. I know more about Indigo than
you want to hear.
A few months ago I converted to AmiBroker. It is inexpensive, has better
development tools than TradeStation, has great support from the developer,
and has an outstanding Yahoo Group.
I still have MetaStock installed, but none of the others.
Before you settle on any other trading system development package, try
AmiBroker. Free trial and lots of information available at:

I am a new Metasock user and have about 10 days left on my 30 day trial. I
have also been looking at Tradestation which actually seems to offer a bit
more than Metastock, can you give me some of the differences you are aware
of and why you use Metastock. I also use TC2000 and have used Omnitrader and
Indigo. I like TC2000 but it offers no back testing feature, Omnitrader is
average at best and I hardly ever use it anymore and of course we all know
what happened to the shisters at Indigo. But my main questions is should I
return Metastock and go with Tradestation Thanks Robert
