Hi Larry, this is the eternal software conundrum.

FWIW, I was a dBase user from v 1.0 (came on a 160K floppy!). Learned
the program.... invested a lot on my time, then ................ the
laser hole in the floppy, placed by the lawyers. Off I went to FoxPro.
It should be noted that when Ashton Tate started to sue everyone, the
program had stopped evolving and all the R&D people left to Fox and
others. The Tate lawyers just wanted the money now, without thinking
of the future.

To keep on the investing topic, we have a similar situation between
RBOT and ISRG. I'm seeing ISRG coming out ahead of this, or RBOT
getting picked up by a JNJ type. To bad we can't short EKWIS.

To our MS members, this is not MS bashing, but only the warning signs
of our frustration that was also noted on the C'Serve board. It's
actually for the good of the product.
