Have you
considered a RAID +1 mirrored drives ?
Basically 2
drives are connected but the O/S only see's one drive.
The other hidden
drive is a complete mirror of the first drive.

  Does
anyone know of a hard drive docking bay where standard hard drives could be
placed in a cradle and just plugged in?
