Past Link to MS from calculated data

I'm wondering if 
anyone is able to do this, because here it is not seem to 
work.
I'm trying to PAST 
LINK data from Excel into Metastock chart, but the data is the sum of 3 
indexes.  I have a similar thing setup where I input data myself into excel 
and with PAST LINK to see the charting in MS and this works fine.  But 
somehow calculated data is not working here.  Also I tried to copy and Past 
Link one of the indexes from the calculation and that works 
perfect.
Any help would be 
most appreciated.
