In all due respect, none of these were false alarms. Each one was isolated
and identified by Norton. I then go to the Symantec site to read about it.
We recently got hit by Navidad here on this list. A friend of mine got hit a
few weeks ago, had not updated his definitions, and his system both at work
and at home are a mess.

I do treat the internet with caution. I download as least as possible.
I use netscape, I trust no one, Also I think that people who use
a virus setup has a lot of false alarms and gets exited for nothing.
virus software is not perfect lots of false alarms.
I have never been hit with one in 10 years.
Don't get me wrong I do check every couple of weeks
I know it would be too late. But hey what's the backup drive for.
Don't worry you won't get aids from me. I use an on line
scanner with up to date files, just checked two days ago
