Re: Chart Pattern Recognition

Hello Sven,

I've purchased the CPR add-on module for MS a while ago and have been using it
for about approx. 4 months
now. It does what it advertises. You can explore your entire stock databases
for the patterns, either confirmed
or not confirmed. (a confirmed pattern is a pattern that is complete -this is
handy to see how the CPR performs
historically-, an unconfirmed pattern is a developing pattern -these are the
ones you can trade on)

But !!!
You still need to look at the charts because sometimes the patterns look
awkward. So there's a little
noise here. This is especially true, in my opinion of course, for double tops
and double bottoms. Lots
of noise here.
Triangles and H&S (not the shampoo) are very well recognized.

So, if you're into pattern trading, this certainly is a good thing to have

Kind Regards
Leo

Hallo,

I am interested in "Chart Pattern Recognition" Add-ons for Metastock (or
other TA-Programms).
Does anyone have experience with "John Murphy's Chart Pattern Recognition"?
Does anyone know other products?

Tks for any reply
