Michael

Perhaps we should go into the insurance business. I am considering offering
$100 million in life insurance payable after someone dies if they are still
alive for only $100.

neo,

I am afraid you are exactly right. That's why they can afford to offer this
kind of protection.

Incidentally, I am hereby offering insurance to pay for and cover in full
all of a person's food expenses incurred after his demise. Up to 25 million.
Impressive, huh?

>>>Lionel,
most brokerages provide insurance of only $ 100,000 for cash claims, while
securities are usually protected up to about 25 million.

In a market meltdown at what price would your security be protected? If it
is after the meltdown and your securities are worth next to nothing then so
is the insurance?
