John, the list robot maintains archives.
Replace 'demo-list' by 'metastock' in the example
below

VI. RETRIEVING FILES FROM A LIST'S ARCHIVESMany list owners keep
archives of files associated with a list.  Thesemay include:- back
issues of the list- help files, user profiles, and other documents
associated with the list- daily, monthly, or yearly archives for the
listTo find out if a list has any files associated with it, use the
"index"command:index demo-listIf you see files in which
you're interested, you may retrieve them byusing the "get" command and
specifying the list name and archive filename. For instance, to retrieve the
files called "profile.form" (presumably aform to fill out with your profile)
and "demo-list.9611" (presumably themessages posted to the list in November
1996), you would put the linesget demo-list profile.formget
demo-list demo-list.9611in your mail to <A
href="mailto:Majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";>Majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

  Subject: Archive ?

  Hello all,

I've been on the list for some 6 months now and
Haven't posted that much, although I did try to generate a Metastock Indicator
for the Wood's Volume Float which efforts I did share with the list.

My question is does this mail list have an
archive that I can access?  I just recently sufferred a total loss of
information on both my main disk drives and mirrored backup drives.  Due
this, I lost mcuh good info (in addition to my volume float indicator) and I
want to somehow recapture the info.

So is there a browseable archive similar to that
  on eGroups?

  Thanks, ..........
John
