I've had this happen to me outside of cyberspace.

If you get any unjustified charges on your credit card, complain to your
credit card company and refuse to pay them.  They'll probably send you a
form to fill out, fill it  out and send it back with a covering letter
explaining what happened.

Secondly, if you are concerned about misuse of your credit card number,
cancel your credit card and tell your carrier to accept no charges as of
the date/time of this incident (except those charges that you know are
legitimate).

I hope you don't have to go thru this hassle.
