Well, now it comes down to the important question.  Do you think the patch
is solid enough for me to download and install?

You're right about the 6.0 to 6.5 upgrade.  I, too, lost all of my charts,
etc.

I'm going to take a day out and see if I can get my DOS calculations working
properly in Windows.  The move to 6.0 didn't work and I gave up trying to
get the 6.5 version to work.  Maybe if I just bypass all of Equis' wizards
and just rekey everything, it might work well enough that I can drop the DOS
version.  The 6.0 conversion scrambled everything and threw all of my
calculations out to the hard drive which it used as a scratch work area.  It
sounded like a coffee grinder.

It took 30 or 40 times longer to run my calcs under Windows as opposed to
the DOS version.  I'm going to try one last time to see if I can get it to
run under Windows before I take the effort to finalize it in Visual Basic
(already got it running under Excel using OLE to tie it to the Downloader
data).
