Commodity traders,

I would like to expand on this topic a little futher regarding continuous
contract data. The continuous data I got from Primate appears to be
unadjusted which is unacceptable in system testing.
-Reuters offers unlimited historical data that uses a weighted adjustment
method for the monthly EOD fee.
-Prophet offers CD-ROM historical data ($395 for 37 futures) with a program
that will chain lead contracts unadjusted or back adjusted.
-Pinnacledata offers lead contract and continuous data and a (utility or
option) for unadjusted, forward adjusted or back undjusted chaining at a
very competitive price.

Any advice on how Reuters weighted historical data as compared to say
Pinnacle's backadjusted data would affect system tests?
