Point & Figure Charting has amazed me very positively over the years but for
some reason could never get the charts to come up right in MS.
Continuesly swearing at the program did not help either, so I left it at that
in "that it was not available".

Since a few Users overhere and you on the List brought the subject up again, and
as I have sort of "found my way" within the program, tho mind you how
much time(!!!!!) I had to spend on it to get this far(and that NEVER AGAIN)
have started to do a few variaties as in how to Open a chart(smart, layout etc.).
As that didn't help, then in how else to try to get to have charts showing P&F proper.

First applying the P&F option, here the charts used to come up like Renko's or the
other never used types. With the entire baseperiod loaded, for some reason the
program only wanted to display the last 8-10 years or so. This I still have to manualy
correct with each Chart(X-scale) and why is beyond my knowladge. However, this
odd behaviour does not apply for the here standard used Barcharts-type.
This had me puzzled for over a long time now and I finaly found the answer to it.
(note in this, that in the "Tools|Options|Chart Options" menu, the
'P&F boxes Stay Square' was never 'on' , eg applied, as most of the time then only
blanc screens were presented when applied!).

Now, if you right click the Price indicator for the Properties quick menu, then apply
the indicator to be for the P&F. After "OK" I sometimes got the program to crash or
to display cripled mutulated charts or -like mentioned above- showing up big black
or white then to be 'useless' bars.
Now by changing the P&F "Parameters", on the second TAB behind the colors TAB,
in this changing the parameter for the Box Size from the here somehow always by the
program 'automaticaly'(but not MS standard) used 2.1160-2.5 range into 3.5 or 4.5
would display what ought to be displayed: a Point & Figure chart.

Noticed from this TAB as well that MS is darn well capable to use a High-Low range
in the Price Filed for an indicators Price Base and as such cannot understand why
this High-Low range option is "never" given as an option in the other build-in indicators'
Parameters TABs.
