[amibroker] download speeds

i have been upping my stock lists and have been noticing that it takes very long to update my data. I also realized that my download speed is a basic
7.5 mbps. I called my provider and I could get that speed up to +20mbps easily. Even to 50mbps This might seem like a stupid question but does that mean my quote updating speed will proportionately decrease by that amount? Do most people here have fast download speeds? Or anyone on any dedicated servers to make the whole thing quicker?
