i would love to be able to attach my image, but i struggled with it yesterday, 

is there anyway i can attach a GIFF file so it gives my question some context??

Your criteria is too vague. You have to define what a strong trend, resumption of trend, etc is. What you ask can be done, but don't expect someone else to come up with the definitions. We can help you with the coding once you have defined exactly what you want.
