Neil,

I run tick data and have never had the horizontal lines disappear. If the "Short Lines" parameter is turned Off and the parameters for "Start Plotting" is set to 0 and "End Plotting" to 240000 the pivots plot continuously. Datenum is not used, this is because I want the last market close as well as the value pivots to plot through the next market session. they are replaced at the end of the current market session with the new values. This gives you the arrays you need for calculating the pivot and support and resistance levels. I do not use the previous open for any calculations on the following day since I consider the final price action of the day to show the prevailing sentiment. If the current session has a gap open I include the current open when calculating the current days S & R pivots.
The GFX labels can be adjusted horizontally via the parameters. If you do not see them you can always turn them off and uncheck the "No Label" under the "Style" parameter. This will provide the standard labels on the Y axis. I have not been able to replicate the labels disappearing.
