Unfortunately, I haven't seen one that handles email usage as well as
Yahoo.  Many don't even do RSS decently.  It's just not realistic it
visit a number of message boards each day to check for new messages.
It's so much easier when they deliver new messages directly to an
email client.  I'm much rather use one portal than 50.

And, in my experience, very few people bother searching -- it's too
much work for them.
