[amibroker] How to deal with years of 1min Forex data and not jeapordize db performance

Hi,I have downloaded 5 years of 1m data from ForexExite.com and have
split them into files per symbol.

I want to have this amount of data in one file so I can do detailed &
reliable backtesting (this is why I selected AB). After having loaded
2 years in the AB db, I get real slow importing (the ticker file size
is now >20MB) and loading another month of data takes 1hr...

I am currently thinking of having a seperate db for 1yr of 1m data (so
2007db, 2006db, 2005db,..) and to have a seperate db for 5m or 10m
resolution to have a first continous data backdata on 5m and then do
thourough verification of year level..

I am probably not the only one with the ambition to have multiple
years of 1m data for reliable backtesting. Does anyone have a good
solution?

thanks!
