Hi,
I am Dutch and very new with Amibroker.
Having difficulties to get Future datafeed from InteractiveBrokers.
The manual says Symbol-Exchange-Type
For the Dutch index (AEX)in IB this would be: EOE-FTA-IND
Wrong, it must be: AEX-FTA-IND in order to get quotes.
Fine this works.
Now the Dutch Future.
The manual says :
Please take special care when typing symbols as some of them (futures)
have MULTIPLE SPACES in the symbol name. You have to type EXACTLY THE
SAME number of spaces as provided in the examples below.
YM JUN 04-ECBOT-FUT
You should think:
AEX NOV 07-FTA-FUT
Wrong again because the spaces are only valid for ECBOT.
I just found out what the right symbol is after looking at my Trade
Confirmations in IB.
FTI071116-FTA-FUT is the right symbol !!
Where 16 november is the expire date of the Future.
This makes sense does it ?
The symbol for december must be FTI071221
I hope this message is a contrbution to future members looking for
info, because it took me alot of time to figure it out.
