[amibroker] How to save data in minimum timeframe

Hi:

I have a problem.

I source ASCII data from by data provider who has a standard Tick size data which he supplies to all. However, since I require just 5-min timeframe, my database settings is 5-min minimum. The lower timeframes of 1-min and less are ignored.

However - Amibroker continues to save the data in tick size format (as supplied by the data provider) and does not convert this data to 5-min, when I import the Ascii data. 

I believe that Metastock does this. Why doesnt Amibroker have this facility?

I asked my data provider but he says he cannot be of much help here.

Can someone explain.
