Me, too!

And as for the Japanese entry:

The first sentence (about new year) is possible, but most of us would
say, "Akemashite omedeto gozaimasu; kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai
shimasu." (Quite a mouthful, I know.)

Fairly literally, "Happy New Year, and please treat me kindly next
year, too (implied: as you treated me this year)."

As for Kurisumasu omedeto ... it is linguistic terra incognita. No
Japanese would utter it. Ever. It doesn't get said.

We say, "Meri Kurismsasu!" (We have no English 'L' nor 'R', but
something rather somewhat in between. For fun, ask a Japanese person
to pronounce the English word 'label', which is a borrowed English
word in Japanese, and which no English speaker unfamiliar with
Japanese would ever recognize if he heard a Japanese speaker utter
it. It would come out something like la-beh'-loo to English ears.)

And so I've said it, from a place where it will indeed be Christmas
in, oh, less than four hours! ^_^ If it were not a Saturday or
Sunday, our market would be open.

Yuki
