I am getting my fund data as a MetaStock data base.
My data provider is putting the same fund in separate folders and is
using the same symbol. The first folder contains the historic data up
to June 2005, and the second folder continues with the presently
updated data. I want to keep updating the new data, but combine it
with the historic data. So far, after hours of work, I can see no
solution except for a long way where I keep the different data in
separate AmiBroker databases and export them to different ascii files
that are merged.
Is there a better way to have AmiBroker combine two periods of data
from different MS folders that are using the same symbol name? (Except
from telling my data provider to do it!)
