i use 'Metastock Ascii 8 column'

You will have to configure AmiBroker to accept the data format

ie   take a data file when downloaded, open it to see the layout, and make sure you have the import columns in AmiBroker lined up to take your data....... I suggest downloading a wee bit of data, get it to import correctly and then go for the whole load as errors are easy to make
