Thanks for the reply.

Indeed this is one of my "things to do" every month.
This deletes those tickers from the BodhiOne database but do you know if this removes them from the MS database?

I don't think so because one of the annoying things I had was that every time I did a retrieve I got outdated tickers eg 85101A, XKOA, XTKA etc reappearing in my Amibroker database, but not in my FCPro database. The FCPro reads the BodhiOne data and creates its own database, while AB if I understand it correctly just reads the MS database through the Plug-In.

Have just done a retrieve and here are all the old tickers again: see attachment.

I now have to go and add all these tickers to my List 63; to delete etc.

Wouldn't want to do this every day!

In future AB installs I will look at dumping the MS database and export all my BF2 data to ASCII and using a local database.

Or I can find some way to manage the MS database.

In fact Micheal ozFalcon AB ASX setup deals with the issue of tickers not trading for a while or having no data by assigning them to their own categories, until such time as they start trading again or get delisted. Very neat.

While we are on the subject, under Database settings it is recommended to Enable Local Data storage. What happens if Disable is selected?

Did you know you can delete the old tickers not trading still in bodh
freeway, just use Tidy-Trash. Old tickers that have not traded in past
7 days are removed from the database.

The best method I can suggest if you want to keep old tickers is to
store them in a separate group/watchlist or wherever so you can
exclude them in any scans.
