Try the AFL function InWatchList()

 

e.g.

 

oilers = "~Oilers";

oilerslist = 30; // Oilers watchlist number

AddToComposite( InWatchList( oilerslist ) * O, oilers , "O", flags );

repeat as necessary for other watchlists in the same AFL file. 

I generate all my composites this way from a single AFL exploration.

I have several composites that use different watch lists or industry groups. Right now I run them for each individual watch list  or group. For example I have several composites that I scan with Russell 2000 watch list, another set that scan with all stocks, another that scans with Russell 3000 watch list.  Is it possible to set up one scan that will change watch lists or industry groups?

Can someone tell me what I need to do?

 

Nonprogrammer needs hand holding!
