I don't post much here, but Dale sent me a note alerting me to this
thread, and I hope that this is a constructive response.
The major piece of AB that is not accessible thru automation is the
charting. I wrote to you 5/14 explaining that I would like to put
nightly charts on a web site with a logo to the effect of "Powered by
Amibroker". Automation would be the preferred approach, and my current
take is that it can't be made to work by the crude approach of sending
keystroke messages because some needed functions (such as layout
switching) can't be manipulated that way. AB's custom charting allows
some really interesting presentations that would be valuable in this
application.
I would think that such charts would be good advertising also, but I
understand that this might not be "mainstream". And, you probably have
way too much on your task list.
I thought that it might be useful to post it here, though, and see if
others see a need for this capability.
