[amibroker] Intra-Day Updates (UK) ... Bill B or anyone who can help

I find that if I :-

(1) Go to Edit/Mark All in Amiquote, and then
(2) File/Start Download

I get an update of UK stocks from Yahoo when the current day option is
selected in the "Source" choices

These manual steps appear necessary even though the "Automatic Import"
Box is checked

As a somewhat slow brained newcomer have I understood the situation
correctly?  Is there a better more automated method?
