In a word ... yes.

The only thing that is required of the user is that he/she defines 
how the "score" is calculated.  There are a variety of other options 
that can be used in addition to this.  I suggest you read the doc in 
the PT-0100 zip and the PT-0101 upgrade doc in the file(s) section.  
This will give you a good idea of how it works and the kinds of 
things that can be done.
