Hole in holy equity

I have noticed a strange behaviour of the equity if there is a hole in
quotations:
a.. if you graph the equity curve, nothing is noticeable on bars where
quotations are missing,
b.. but if you transfer the equity to a composite, the composite will have
down peaks on the missing bars probably caused by an exit price set to 0
(see attached gif).
The resulting composite graph is difficult to read, specially if you use
logarithmic scale !!!
I would like the composite equity to fill the holes, just like it seems to
be done with the "standard" equity.
