Thank you, Donald, for sending these descriptions.
I guess they are really helpful for the others on this mailing list. 
I just want to comment some things:

Indeed AmiBroker uses by default slightly different colours: 
blue for ADX, green for +DI, red for -DI
However they can be changed using Preferences window.

BTW: AmiBroker 3.40 has an additional colour settings so if you have changed
the defaults before (for example you have black background) you may need
to adjust new colour settings, otherwise some chart elements may disapear
(for example grid and axes colours have its separate settings now, 
if you have black background and black axes you won't see the axes and labels)

This is not correct. Above definition is for TRUE RANGE (not ATR).
Average True Range is moving average of True Range. Wilder uses his special averaging
method (similiar to exponential averaging) (AmiBroker uses of course this Wilders averaging
for calculation of ATR, ADX and DMI).
